What is H.E.A.T.?
The HEAT Program provides year-round energy and water assistance as well as energy and water-related crisis assistance for eligible low income households throughout Utah. You may qualify for a heating benefit (October – March), cooling benefit (April – September) and water assistance when you apply for the HEAT Program.
Have you received a notice that your water will be shut off, or has it already been shut off? The HEAT Program may be able to help. In addition to assistance with heating and cooling, HEAT helps eligible households with water assistance on a limited basis.
The HEAT Program may be able to help eligible households with a cooling benefit. Applications for cooling will begin April 2022 and the household would need to meet HEAT Eligibility requirements to qualify for a cooling benefit. For more information call your local HEAT office.
Please Note: Due to pandemic, it may take longer than 45-days to fully process your HEAT application. Thank you for your patience.
